This frame is meant to be a sacramental for your home (when blessed by a priest), and a source of protection against the spiritual warfare of the enemy battle.
 
The front of the medal shows St. Benedict with a Latin prayer around him that asks for his intercession. “May we be strengthened by his presence in the hour of our death.”

The reverse of the medal is filled with Latin initials that form an ancient exorcism prayer, invoking Christ’s power and asking for protection from every form of evil.

The initials in the middle of the cross stand for: “May the Holy Cross be my light. Let not the dragon be my guide.”

And the letters surrounding it translate to:
“Be gone Satan. Do not tempt me with your vanities. What you offer me is evil. Drink your own poison.”
